Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream Review

I have dry skin, so finding the right face wash is difficult for me. Whenever I buy one, I look for features suitable for dry skin. My biggest concern is that the Face wash shouldn’t dry out my skin after use. That dry and stretchy feeling is a big ‘no-no’ for me. That’s why I always go for cleansing milk in winter and hydrating face washes for the rest of the year.

When I came across Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream, I was immediately attracted to it because it is an exfoliating face wash. At the same time, I was concerned about whether it would leave my face feeling tight. The word ‘cream’ in the name suggested it would work for dry skin, so I decided to give it a try. This face wash claims to work on pigmentation and dark spots, and there are videos on YouTube that say it reduces dark spots. I wasn’t convinced by those videos because I believe that’s a big claim for a face wash. Face washes are mainly meant to clean the outer layer of the skin and barely stay on long enough to provide deeper benefits. But is this face wash any different from the rest? Does it really work on pigmentation and dark spots? Read on to find out.

Packaging:

Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream comes in a large white tube with a grey flip-up cap. The cap is secure enough for travel, but I don’t think this bulky tube is something anyone would want to carry in their handbag. To be honest, I find the packaging quite simple and calming. It gives you the impression that the product inside is effective because the packaging is minimal. At least that’s how it feels to me. As much as I love the no-nonsense packaging, I also really like its fragrance. It’s very mild and not at all bothersome.

Texture:

As the name suggests, Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream is a white, translucent, creamy face wash that contains tiny exfoliating beads. It’s creamy, and the beads are mild and don’t feel scratchy or irritating.

Experience:

When I first used this face wash, I was quite amazed by the results. As I mentioned earlier, this face wash is creamy with mild exfoliants. I use it just as a face wash, massaging it for a minute in a circular motion. After rinsing with tap water, my skin felt soft and looked clean. Since I have dry skin, my biggest concern was whether it would leave my face feeling tight and dry after use. To my relief, it didn’t give me that dry and stretchy feeling.

I’ve been using this face wash for months, and I’m on my second bottle now, so I’m sharing my experience after thoroughly testing Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream. As for its claims, I don’t have significant dark spots or pigmentation, just some acne scars that have been there for a while. To be honest, I haven’t done much to treat them. Even after months of using this face wash, I didn’t notice any change in the scars. They’re still there and haven’t lightened. What this face wash actually does is provide mild exfoliation, leaving your skin soft, clean, and glowing. You know how your face looks after a good skincare routine? That’s how it looks after using this face wash. At least, that’s been my experience.

There are many videos online about Bioderma Pigmentbio Foaming Cream, and most of them talk about pigmentation issues being resolved. But if you read some of the comments below those videos, you’ll see that many people say this face wash doesn’t really work on pigmentation and dark spots.
