When it comes to perfumes, I’m the type of person who struggles with making decisions. Fragrance is such a personal thing, and what works for one person might be completely off-putting for another. That’s why I usually play it safe by investing in travel-size bottles or samples before committing to a full-sized product. Bella Vita perfumes had been on my trying list for a while, so when I spotted a Bella Vita perfume gift set for women at DMart, I didn’t stop myself to pick it up. After all, the brand has a reputation for offering luxury fragrances at an affordable price—a combination that’s hard to resist.
Given the brand’s promise of luxury, my expectations were naturally high. Unfortunately, the Bella Vita perfumes didn’t live up to the hype. Despite the appealing marketing and promise of luxury at an affordable price, using the perfumes from the gift set quickly proved to be a disappointment.
The gift set included 4 fragrances, each presented in sleek, travel-friendly bottles. I eagerly tried each one, hoping to find a signature scent that would leave a lasting impression. But as I sprayed on the first perfume, I was immediately struck by a cloyingly sweet scent that lacked depth or sophistication. It was the kind of sweetness that doesn’t evolve or settle into something more nuanced over time—instead, it simply lingered in an overpowering and artificial way. All the 4 fragrances are very similar to each other and when you smell one after the other it is hard to distinguish between them.

The real letdown, however, was the longevity of these perfumes. A good fragrance should ideally last a few hours, gradually unfolding its various notes as time goes on. Unfortunately, Bellavita Perfume gift set for women failed to do so. The initial burst of scent quickly faded, leaving behind a barely-there trace that was almost undetectable within an hour or two. For a brand that positions itself as offering luxury at an affordable price, the poor lasting power was particularly disappointing.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was that these perfumes, despite their weak staying power, had a tendency to give me headaches. Instead of turning heads for the right reasons, I found myself reaching for a glass of water and some aspirin after wearing them for just a short while. The strong, synthetic notes were more irritating than refreshing, making it difficult to enjoy the fragrances for any extended period.
I have tried a couple of Bella Vita Perfumes men’s variants in the past. While those were somewhat okay and didn’t have the same overpowering sweetness, they still fell short of delivering the refined, lasting experience that one would expect from a brand claiming to offer luxury. However, the women’s variants in this particular gift set were, in my experience, a complete miss.

In conclusion, the Bella Vita perfume gift set for women didn’t live up to the hype for me. While the idea of getting luxury perfumes at an affordable price is appealing, the reality was far from it. With their overly sweet scents, poor longevity, and the headaches they induced, these perfumes turned out to be more of a letdown than a luxury. If you’re someone who, like me, is particular about your fragrances, you might want to consider other options before investing in this gift set. Sometimes, it’s worth paying a little more for a perfume that truly delivers a luxurious experience.
